Boarding
Full care board includes a 12×12 box stall with the use of a paddock every other day, daily stall cleaning, and twice daily feeding. When available, you may upgrade to a stall with the use of a paddock every day for an additional $50 per month, or a double stall (12×24) with the use of a paddock every day for an additional $235 per month.
The feed included in your board is up to five flakes (approximately twenty to twenty-five pounds) per day of Eastern Oregon orchard grass hay or local grass hay, and up to five pounds per day of Nutrena Safe Choice. If your horse requires more feed we would be happy to work with you and figure out an additional feed surcharge to cover your horse’s needs. If you wish to provide supplements for your horse we will feed those with evening concentrates. We will also switch your horse’s rugs at turn out and turn in and put your horse’s protective boots on for turn out. Horses who do not have both a stable rug and a turn out rug will not be turned out or allowed out into their paddock in inclement weather. Board also includes worming every other month and electrolytes when the temperature is over 95 degrees.
Since Myrewyn specializes in ponies, we also offer a special pony rate for small and medium ponies to reflect their decreased bedding and feed requirements. Full care pony board includes everything listed above except hay is limited to three flakes per day and concentrate is limited to two pounds per day.
When possible, horses go out in small groups. If you do not wish for your horse to go out in a group we will be happy to leave him or her in an individual paddock. Group turnout is only available in good weather from approximately April through October.
All boarded horses must be in at least the introductory training package (one lesson and one training ride or two training rides per week).
