The Future

Here you will see the Myrewyn horses that are about to hit the show ring, whether homebred foals or special ponies that have been purchased to further the goals of the program. These horses and ponies are not actively for sale but contact me at myrewyneq@gmail.com if you are interested in making an offer on any of them.

Cannon’s Majestic Miss Hepburn was purchased as both a future hunter show pony and broodmare. “Katie” comes with all the traits I want in a hunter pony — a kind eye, beautiful movement, correct conformation, and a natural desire to be with people. She is registered both Half-Welsh and ISR/Oldenburg Pony.

Katie is a top of the line medium and is sure to be a star in the medium pony divisions. She is currently lightly started under saddle and will begin her serious training in 2011. Watch for her at the shows later this year!

Myrewyn Sophisticated Lady is a stunning and correct homebred filly by Thoroughbred stallion Guaranteed Gold who is being retained as a future show hunter. The smart thing would be to sell her but I am crazy in love with her and will hopefully find the time to show her myself. “Diana” is whip-smart with the good looks of a model and superstar athletic ability. I hope she will wow the judges not with her unusual color but with her incredible jump style and gorgeous movement. After a bit of a show career she may be bred to a top hunter stallion.

Diana is currently in such a rapid growth pattern that I have not ridden her yet but she should be started under saddle later in 2011 as a four-year-old. She is expected to mature around 16 hands.

Myrewyn Sweet Georgia Brown (Glenhaven Sweet Souie Souie x Jasminealaddin) is a half-Arabian daughter of Cory. Georgie has gorgeous flat-kneed movement although as you can see when she is feeling fresh she can move very big! With her blaze and four matching socks she is sure to catch the judge’s eye in the show ring and she has the personality to be a child’s best friend.

Georgie will mature a medium. She will be three in the summer of 2011 and will be started lightly under saddle if she is ready. Georgie will not be officially on the market until she is well-started on the flat and over fences (likely in 2012) but please inquire by emailing myrewyneq@gmail.com if you are interested in purchasing her while still unstarted.
