Merlin is an elegant bay gelding with a well-shaped neck, very refined head, beautiful soft eye and a great thick tail — a nod to his half pony background, I think. His sire is the wonderful little Moxley Duncan and he is out of a Thoroughbred mare. He is extremely soft in the bridle and knows extensions and collections, shoulder in, haunches in, leg yielding, turns on the forehand and haunches, and he loves his free walk and stretching circle. He has three really nice gaits (including a fancy trot!) and would make a really lovely dressage horse for a petite teen or adult rider. He would do best with a calm, confident rider who he can put his trust in.

Merlin loads easily and has both show and trail riding experience. He is currently having a professional tune-up and will remain in training until sold. He is bodyclipped and being kept indoors at a facility with an indoor arena so he is ready for you to come and try!
